We are building two platforms to enhance the entertainment ecosystem: Twinkle is a B2C entertainment discovery app that aims to become the go-to destination for users overwhelmed by content choices, being a cinematic compass that combines the best of artificial intelligence with human intuition to transform how people find and share films they'll love. Sputo is our "Studio of the Future" — a platform for tomorrow's filmmakers that combines project management, game engine technology and intelligent agent-based systems into one coherent product. Both depend on the same foundation — deep, high-quality film data.

With successful fundraising from investors, Creative Europe MEDIA and the European Institute of Technology Culture & Creativity, we're now working to build and bring these platforms to the wider market.

• Managing partner and investor relations across our projects, keeping communication frequent and meaningful, from individual updates through to regular newsletters, and helping craft the strategy behind them
• Managing our CRM platform (HubSpot) and keeping partner, investor and contact data clean, current and well-organised
• Owning the contract side of the business, from drafting and reviewing agreements to building automations that make our contract processes faster and smarter
• Creating business plans and business cases, both for Malao's individual entities and for the company overall
• Playing a founding role in the Meaningful Entertainment Fund, supporting the legal and commercial structuring of our first fund vehicle, preparing presentations and fundraising materials, and helping drive the raise forward alongside our co-founder Nils and external advisors
• Supporting Malao's corporate restructuring, from founding dedicated entities for Sputo and Twinkle to shaping our holding structure and employee participation (VSOP) programme

Plus, jumping into wherever the need is greatest - this role does not have a fixed lane, and that is intentional. You might work on a funding application in the morning and prototype an internal automation in the afternoon. We want someone who is a generalist - flexible, a quick-learner and up for a challenge.

• You have a background in law, finance, or business, whether as a current Bachelor's or Master's student, a recent graduate, or an early-career professional, with a strong interest in fundraising, corporate structuring and business development, and the drive to get things done rather than just observe
• You have gained first exposure to contracts, corporate structures, funds or fundraising, for example through your studies or internships in law, M&A, venture or consulting, and you are keen to take real ownership of this work
• You are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
• You have strong analytical and structured thinking - you can hold multiple complex threads at once, prioritise under pressure, and produce clear, well-organised work
• You either have experience building automations, internal tools, or systems - or you are genuinely motivated to learn quickly using no-code or AI-assisted tools (e.g. Lovable or similar)
• You have a flexible approach to challenges, coupled with the readiness to pivot as required in a dynamic startup environment
• You want to collaborate in a fast-paced startup, working closely with the co-founders and founding team at the intersection of technology and entertainment
• You have an international mindset – we're a global team, mainly based between Munich and Australia, but all with a shared love of travel and exploring new cultures
